| Xavier Admission Test (XAT), one of the most competent management exams after CAT, is conducted by XLRI, Jamshedpur for more than 50 years since the institute’s establishment. | Eligibility Criteria |

| Graduates in any discipline from recognized universities are eligible to apply for the exam. The final year students from degree courses can also apply. The minimum percentage required to qualify for the XAT varies with each university or business school. |

| Besides attempting XAT, foreign aspirants seeking education in XLRI have another option to submit their GMAT scores (taken during January 1, 2007 to December 31, 2008 in case of admissions in 2009) for admission. |

| Foreign aspirants are required to have Bachelor’s degree in any discipline recognized by appropriate authorities or Association of Indian Authorities. |

| Exam Structure |

| XAT has three sections with the time span of 40 minutes each, covering Reading Comprehension and Verbal Ability; Quantitative Ability, Logical Reasoning, and Data Interpretation; and General Awareness Questions. This exam is followed by an essay writing test of 20 minutes duration on contriving topics, judging your knowledge on the subject matter, grammar expertise, and perception. |
