IIT Kanpur: Department of Industrial and Management Engineering

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have minimum 60 percent aggregate marks or CGPI of 6 out of 10 (55 percent for the applicants of SC/ST category) in their Bachelor’s degree in any type of Engineering/Technology from AICTE approved University or Institute.
Candidates with Architecture degree can also apply if they have studied Mathematics at 10+2 level. Non-Resident Indians and Foreign Nationals are selected on the basis of their academic backgrounds and required work experience. Also, candidates with AMIE or any such distance learning profile are not eligible for this program.
Candidates appearing in the final exam of graduation can also apply for JMET, provided they submit all the provisional documents for the qualifying degree during the admissions.
Under reservation quota, 15 percent, 7.5 percent, 3 percent seats are reserved for SC, ST, and PD candidates, respectively. These candidates are considered irrespective of their marks/CGPA but should fulfill the minimum criteria of clearing JMET exam.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have minimum 60 percent aggregate marks (55 percent for the applicants of SC/ST category) in their Bachelor’s degree of Engineering/Technology or Master’s degree in Science/Economics/Commerce (with Mathematics/Statistics at Bachelor’s level). Work experience will be given its due weightage. The reservation for SC/ST/PD candidates would be done as per the norms of Government of India.

Applicants must have minimum 60 percent aggregate marks (55 percent for the applicants of SC/ST category) in B.E./B.Tech. or Master’s degree in any discipline or equivalent examination.
Candidates appearing in the final exam of graduation can also apply for JMET, provided they submit all the provisional documents for the qualifying degree before the prescribed date.
