Eligibility Criteria for Undergraduate Programs
Law aspirants who have passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination with a minimum of 50 percent in aggregate (45 percent in case of Schedule Castes, Schedule Tribes, Other Backward Classes, and Physically Disabled) from any recognized university are eligible to apply for the law test. Also, he should be not more than 20 years of age on 1st July, 2009 (22 years in case of SCs, STs, OBCs, and PD).
The test paper for the undergraduate programs will cover English including Comprehension, General Knowledge/Current Affairs, Elementary Mathematics (Numerical Ability), Legal Aptitude, and Logical Reasoning.
Eligibility Criteria for Postgraduate Programs
Students who have passed LL.B. or B.L. degree or an equivalent degree from any recognized university with a minimum of 55 percent in aggregate (50 percent in case of SCs, STs, OBCs, and PD).
The test paper will cover Law of Contracts, Law of Torts, Family Law, Criminal Law, Constitutional Law and Legal Theory. The aspirants for the postgraduate programs should secure at least 50 percent marks to take admission in any of the above mentioned universities.
Aspirants are required to appear for the CLAT separately to take admission in NLU, Jodhpur.
